What I'm Doing Now
I first heard about the concept of a "Now" page from Derek Sivers in an interview with Tim Ferriss where he described his "Now" page. I found the idea fascinating, the idea is that it should answer the question "What do you have going on now?". You can find more information here if you feel inspired to create a "Now" page like I did.

Working on master's thesis with Vattenfall
I am now in full-on data collection mode for my master thesis on Innovation Ecosystems and Risk Mitigation with my thesis partner and Vattenfall. We are interviewing people from across the energy sector and other areas relevant to our research. It is a lot of fun diving deeper into the energy ecosystem and getting a better understanding of how this crucial industry works on a deeper level. Although sometimes a bit intense I am enjoying the work.
Working at Valcon
On the side of my master's thesis, I am working part-time as a junior consultant at Valcon, a European management consulting firm. I generally work two days a week at Valcon. It has been a great learning experience so far and I am working on developing my "consulting toolbox" as it is sometimes called. I am putting in reps in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, the consultant's best friend.
Searching for a full-time job
It is not yet fully decided what I will be doing after graduation so I am currently applying and recruiting for different roles starting in 2025. If you were to categorize my applications into two categories it would be firstly consulting positions and secondly business analyst roles at tech or industrial firms. The consulting route is the "standard route" for most people in my program in Industrial Engineering and Management and offers great opportunities to develop leadership skills while getting exposed to different industries. The business analyst route is more about leaning into my interest in analytics and working with data while still providing value for the business. Things will clarify in the next few weeks I believe.
I hope you enjoyed reading about what I am up to now.
